Notice Of Proposed Development By Local Authority
In accordance with Section 179 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000 and Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001, Kilkenny Borough Council hereby gives notice of its intention to carry out the following development:
Construction of a 39m2 extension to existing pay station building, consisting of;
- Staff welfare facilities room,
- Service and storage rooms,
- 2no. universal access public W/C's (toilets),
- New external finish to existing building,
- Associated site works at the following location;
THE MARKET YARD, KILKENNY
The site is located in the City Centre Architectural Conservation Area, as set out in the City & Environs Development Plan 2008 - 2014.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection at the offices of Kilkenny Borough Council, City Hall, High Street, Kilkenny from Friday 2nd December 2011 until Friday 13th January 2012 between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with proper planning and development of the area in which the works will be situated, may be made in writing to the undersigned, not later than Wednesday 1st February at 12.00 noon.
