Parks Bye-Laws 2011
In accordance with the provisions of Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001 Kilkenny Borough Council hereby gives public notice of the intention to introduce Parks Bye-Laws 2011 to include fixed payment notices.
The Bye Laws provide for the control, regulation, protection and management of Parks, Playgrounds, Recreational Playing Grounds, Sports Pitches and Multi Use Games Areas which are owned, controlled by or in the charge of Kilkenny Borough Council.
These Bye-Laws are being advanced so as to protect Parks and to establish standards of behaviour associated with the use and enjoyment of such facilities.
The draft Bye-Laws are available for public inspection during normal office hours (Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 1.00pm and from 2.00pm to 5.00pm excluding public holidays) from Friday 29th July, 2011 to Friday 2nd September, 2011 at the following locations ;

Written submissions must be addressed to Parks Department, Kilkenny County Council, County Hall, John Street, Kilkenny. The latest date for the receipt of submissions is Friday 9th September, 2011 (5.00pm).
